S/TDM cable a straight-thu ribbon cable?

Getting extremly impatient now and will be in the position to knock up a cable at work tommorrow. Can anyone tellme how many lines te cable has?

The cable has 20 wires, and for what it's worth it's marked **2651 VW-1 E126B**, stars indicating possible characters covered by connectors (last "B" could be "8", not sure...)

The connectors are marked 6338 ELCO EG/YK As long as you place these facing the same way on the cable, you should be OK.

I didn't check your part number stubbe but I think Elco are usually cheaper parts compared to 3M. I'll try looking those up now. Thanks peeps

Plain old 40 conductor IDE cable works fine too. Just carefully trim away the unused portion of the cable with a razor blade.
