Problem installing new plugins

Just got a new system now with Win XP service pack 2 and I can't seem to install new plugins with an oxe extension. Anyone know how to do thsi?

Yeah, I have this problem too... there's a work around though. I think you just copy the plugin installer files (the oxe ones) into C:SFPAppOxe and then restart the Scope software. They'll get installed from there.

If that doesn't work, do a search and you'll find the fix. That's how I found this method.

I had done a search and some people had said you need to disable DEP but the link to a technet article on doing this made little sense - I was hoping there was an easier way

anyway - this worked fine
