Re: New motherboard for my creamware card?

Hi scopey,

Back on topic and away from waffling.
I use a ASUS P5QL-E for running 3 cards with a quad core.
It works fine.
The only thing I dont like is that the 3 PCI slots are very close to each other.

I hope this helps to make a decision.

Well, it does! I'll order the ASUS P5QL-E. Any ...

Re: New motherboard for my creamware card?

Hi all,

I just got a reply from the store that the dp35dp is non deliverable! Bummer. (Weird, since I allready paid up front). Anyway, instead of this board they offered me a MSI P45 Neo3-FR.

Is this a good alternative?

Peace,

Re: New motherboard for my creamware card?

Then I'll order 2x the Kingston ValueRAM 4 GB DDR2-800 Kit KVR800D2N6K2/4G. 1,8v

I'll report back as soon as I have them installed.

Thanks again,

Re: New motherboard for my creamware card?

Thanks again!

Update: Just ordered the dp35dp!

Next problem arises: I can't seem to order the supported (as listed on the intel and 3rd party QVL website) memory in the Netherlands. Since I am a noob when it comes to memory, can you recommend another specific brand/module that is supported as ...

Re: New motherboard for my creamware card?

First of all, thanks for the replies!

I checked the suggested motherboards (ntel dg33 and dp35dp) and they look like a solid choice. However, they do not seem to support SLI which means I also have to buy a new graphics card.

Do you happen to know a SLI motherboard that might also do the trick ...

New motherboard for my creamware card?

Hi all,

I keep on having problems with my current motherboard (Asus P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe). The problem consists of soundglitches in Ableton Live 8 and an occasional freeze.

Since the problem only occurs with the Creamware card installed I checked for IRQ sharing. And yes, the creamware card shares ...

I knew I wasn't the first with this question, but searching the forum for this problem didn't come up with the answer.

Thanks for the reply though.

You're going to need to install 32-bit XP.

There's not much audio hardware with 64 bit drivers, certainly nothing that does what Scope does. Also, I wouldn't advise beta-testing 64-bit audio apps.

Thanks for the quick reply

2 weeks ago my XP crashed. Until that crash everything worked fine. But when I reistalled XP, the Luna 2 card started to have problems when playing. Everytime I play a wave in mediaplayer it has 'clicks'. And no matter what I do, I can not remove it.

I tried every tip on this forum and today I even ...
