i never had the BG app running before (with 3.01 or 2.04 pulsar version)
i removed the little alias witch launch pulsar BG at startup (in the launch at startup folder in the system folder) after each install
so i just say that i never had this prob before.......like you said i could have 2 oms ...

si it s ok...my G4 is on os 9.2.2 now and oms 2.3.7 and i have always the same prob....i can t load anything without sfp launch first
it s not a big problem i know but it s strange that oms react like that "can t load oms midi driver" and -boom- no more midi flow.....with ...

i use oms 2.3.8.....i m going to try 2.3.7 but i never had prob before with 2.3.8
when i worked with stand alone synth there was no prob of asio cause these stand alone app was tune to work with soundmanager.....i never disable oms or something like ...

i just noticed a prob with oms
when i launch a synth as stand alone application or logic 4.8.1 without SFP OMS report an error ....something like "can t load creamware oms driver" with a lot of error and "can t locate oms ...

expression(CC#11) is relative to the volume and is very useful during the mix....when you want to write/edit volume automation on an instrument you should use expression controller....so when you have edit several expression(CC#11) instrument...if on of them is to high or to low during all the ...
