I´m have a Hedd192 for testing before purchase, but i am having problems getting sync.

Connected like this:
Swissonic AD24 (adat out) Pulsar2 (adat in)

Yeah, i know. But then i would need the sync-plate? Will there be a significant qualityloss not using word-clock? I´m kind of new to the clocking thing.
Still, good to hear to be able to use both spdif and adat.

Hello

Anyone using a Pulsar2-system with both multiple converters with both adat and spdif connectors?
Right now i´m using my Pulsar2 with a Swissonic AD24 and Swissonic DA24 (connected via lightpipe).
I´m thinking of getting a Cranesong HEDD192, which has spdif connectors.
Will it be possible ...

Thanks for replying

Tried the powersupply thing, switched mine to a 350W Enermax last year and it didn´t reduce the noice i think. Maybe a 450W PSU would do it.
I mailed to Creamware and they suggested to have a look at the card, also the distributers in Sweden say that they´ve experienced people ...

Hi

I know this has been discussed many times before here. I just built a new compter and i still get pretty much humming and whining in my monitors when i turn the volym all the way up. The noice is probably only on the analog in/out on the Pulsar, because no humming is applied to the audio when ...

Thanks again

I have "automatically restart" disabled and i not getting any error screens, so i´m not sure which driver it is causing problems.
Still useful info, thanks Kurosawa.

I also searched XP for updates but didn´t find any specific one for this. I´ve basically only installed the critical ...

OK-there must be some wrong settings on my TUSL2-C. According to this:

"Whether or not APM is enabled makes a difference — but the effect could go two ways. Some users report that XP reboots on shutdown if APM is enabled, but shuts Windows down just fine if APM is disabled. Other users ...

Just installed my new TUSL2-C mobo and everything is working great so far but i noticed that the CPU gets a quite warm.
Is 46-47C on full load (apparently always with ACPI-disabled) normal? On my old ABIT-BX133 the temps never went above 42C.

OK-thanks. How about memory-sticks for this mobo. Read on the google.newsgroups that this mobo is picky about what memorys to use and the combination of those. I´ve been using (256, 2x128 SDRAM+PC133-noname) without any problems on my ABIT BX133-mobo.
Hopefully i´ll be alright with them on the ...

Yes, but it´s really weird in my case. In XP the noice is there, when i ghost back to WIN98se it´s gone. Nothing to do with cables or ground loops here.

Guess what, my Pulsarcard has been silent as a mouse the last 6 months after previous struggeling with the bubbling noice issue, but now its back.

I finally decided to move on to XP after using WIN98SE for several years, and after installing the noice was back.

I haven`t changed any hardware nor ...

I simply disabled ACPI-in bios, reinstalled Win98Se and the bubbling noice was gone.
Should do it for you, i also got the "disable AGP bus mastering" tip from Subhuman but the settings for my graphicscard didn´t have that feature. Try that first.
