I think the most important thing in mastering is a great mix. Then comes the tools and room, ability to translate mixes to outside environment, and experience. The better all these things are, the higher the price. For starters it's really about getting the track to sound as best as possible ...

I am having trouble splitting the keyboard into two different sounds, like a kick on the left and a bass sound on the right. I have read the manual and tried everything I could think of and still no luck. I always end up with the same sound in both scenes. Can you try this on your own ...

If you're doing pro audio you're not supposed to have internet connected to a DAW anyway.

right, frequency volume won't change but the overall signal level does, at least with my setup
