Re: Process Lasso Pro for Improving Native Performance
I set I/O Priority to "High" and Priority Class to "Above Normal" and "Exclude from ProBalance" for scope.exe. I suppose I could also limit the CPU cores as Scope shouldn't care. But with the settings in Process Lasso so far, Scope is solid. Setting my DAW (in this case, Cantabile 3.0) to Priority ...

Re: how do I use the VDAT??
ronnie,
Thanks for the response. I asked because I am "upgrading" my DAW, and will be using Sonar Platinum on it, along with SCOPE of course. I too am a long time Cakewalk user (Pro Audio days), and am currently using Sonar 8.5.3. I have X1, X2, and X3, but never used them! VDAT looks like it will ...

Re: how do I use the VDAT??
ronnie,
What version of Sonar are you using? How does the sound of VDAT compare to the sound of Sonar? Which one is easier to record to?
Thanks in advance.

Installation of two cards with 5.1 software .exe file
Hello all,
I’m upgrading my SCOPE machine to an HP z400 Workstation. I’m installing in two(2) SCOPE 14dsp cards. I have purchased and downloaded Scope 5.1 software for the 1st card. The second card runs on 5.0, and has a few 5.0 plugins. I have never installed from downloaded software before ...

Re: Looking to purchase 2 STDM cables
Interesting indeed! Thanks. If I can't find a couple to buy, looks like this is my only option. Does anybody know the failure rate of "homemade" cables versus the Creamware "professionally made" variety?

Mackie Contol Univesal and Wolf Audio Design
Hi all. It would appear from everything I've seen that Wolf Audio Design makes the only Scope mixer that works with a MCU (Please correct me if I'm wrong!). Is he still around? I checked the website - it looks like it hasn't been updated in a couple of years. The last post on the site that I see ...

Re: You might want to hold off on Sandy Bridge for a bit....
Well I broke down and bought a demo from CES.
It's a laptop from MSI w/ 8GB's and w7 Premium. Sandy Bridge is OK as long as SATA III storage is used.
This guy snags gear every year at CES and gets rid of it for what he paid for it probably after several weeks of playing with stuff.

Re: Powercore goes down..Now it is only UAD and SonicCore
Well, there is the SSL MX4 card - nice device. Not cheap, though, when you include the necessary converter box. You do get what you pay for - fabulous sound, and an excellent DSP-based mixer and plugins. I have the "little brother" forerunner - Mixtreme 192. I still love it.

Re: You might want to hold off on Sandy Bridge for a bit....
Yeah, more of an embarassment - and slight financial loss - than anything else for Intel. Still, one can't help but wonder what other "glitches" lurk behind this launch. Think I'll wait a few more months before I upgrade.........

Hi. How much are you selling your 15 chip Scope Professional board with z-link for? Any plugins/software come with it?
Thanks.
Thanks.
