Re: What do you as pro expect from your mic preamps?
if it sounds right - it is right. So if you are happy with your micpre - don't waste your money. But - I'm shure you know - very important thing is to have best sounding chain you can allow to. I dont know what type of other studio equipment you use in your setup, but it has no sense to have really ...

Hi
In my opinion Vectron is THE BEST of Creamware synths. Minimax, Podyssey etc are great, but they are only emulations of "true " instruments. Vectron is/ was originally Creamware's idea. I know it was inspirated by prophet VS, but it is very different.
Idea of "wave oscilators" is great, morphing ...

Hi
In my opinion new Soniccore hardware should have AT LEAST 16 digital I/O @96. I mean 4x ADAT in+ out or even better 2 x ADAT in/out + 8 AES/EBU ch. via DB25 connector. Z-link is not important for me. It is not a standard protocol and A16 sounds much worse than Aurora or Rosetta (I owned A16 and ...

Hi
I was working on S6000. S6000 is FX box only. Scope is whole studio enviroment integrated with your DAW, or it can be used also as outboard (inside dedicated computer, as S6000). I cannot tell what Scope will able to do, but at the moment "sound" of S6000 ia faaaaaaaar better: especially dynamics ...

Hmmm I don't think Steinb. is malicious to lock drivers support for SC (remamber Cub/nue 4.0 works well). In Nuendo (cubase) forum , if you serch for Creamware, you'll have 89 (345) matches. Forum has 129004 (657447) articles. RME has 1743 (almost 3000) matches. I really don't think Steinb company ...
