Test your RAM.

Has this just begun to appear or is it an immediate problem?

it's been intermittent.

was fine for several hours of testing when we first got it up and running...
then started bluescreening and hanging throughout a day of recording guitars with about 3 hours of work in between ...

Erm no I don't have a 1st generation card... I have Pulsar 2 - the ULLI setting is the lowest setting I could use (changed in an attempt to get a stable machine!) there are lower settings.

Well the computer is still crashing...I'm going ahead with recording with this computer even though it's ...

hi there, thanks for the help (again)

I found the cset.ini file but cannot see "intBlksize" or anything relating to the latency within the file. (nor "hw")

we're also not using ULLI. (our setting is 23ms @ 48khz)

One thing I should also mention is that it's not an immediate bluescreen that ...

Hey guys, here's an update:

Nothing we've tried has worked so far.
- there were IRQ conflicts (with our NVIDIA graphics card), but thanks to XP it's been a chore to change them. finally though after some disabling of IRQ hogging items, we got the Creamware card on a solitary IRQ. Still ...

Hi guys,

My brother and I have recently updated our PC audio setup and we've just discovered we can't find our setup discs for SFP3.1a...
We're looking to update to the latest version of course, but that requires us to look through tons of papers (that have moved ...

I'd like to use 2 outputs (for two seperate monitors) at least one with digital, so I imagine a seperate video card would be of use...

So I guess include that in the list, haha...

Thanks

it depends what you currently have.maybe you have parts can you re-use? optical, power supply etc?

well, to be honest I'd rather start from scratch. My previous setup was incredibly backwards as it was designed to use both the Pulsar and the Korg Oasys cards in the same machine. a diffulcult task ...

new PC setup - thoughts?

Hi guys,
I thought I would ask here as you're more likely to know than me ;)

I'm shortly going to be completely updating my PC with a midrange scope card at it's hub. Could I have opinions on setups that wouldn't have any compatability issues?

I've no problem buying individual parts
I'm not ...
