Hi,

Quite frequently, when I hit the stop button on the Cubase Transport Bar, my machine freezes completely.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Just to stress this for all the people who bitch about Creamware and the Pulsar, I consider this problem to have been totally within Cubase and nothing to do with the Pulsar whatsoever...

PPS: The Karlette Aux Effect seems a sure fire way to cause this to happen. Is it broken or just extremely processor hungry?

As for RAM, I dunno, is 512Mb enough for the demo song?

I got further myself by checking the 'Play in background' option, once I found it, the Pulsar manual is out of date on this. What does this do?

I also whacked the buffers up miles ...

Hi,

Setup as follows:
Pulsar II (Software: 2.04a)
Cubase VST 5.0
ASIO latency set as high as possible (25ms @ 44.1k, IIRC)
ASIO source -> Dynamixer -> Pulsar Analog Out
