Re: 3x Pulsar 2

Thanks garyb, I see what you mean, I have now loaded a multiple of modules and it has reached the maximum 18 DSP capacity rather than 2/3’s. What I did is have 1 synth and push it to see how much polyphony it could have at 96Khz and with your explanation now I know why it is not possible due to the ...

3x Pulsar 2

Hi,

I just got my third DSP card which take me upto 18 DSP's, now I am not sure if this is to do with only having 1 STDM, but it seems I can only push my system 2/3 of the way until it tells me I have no more DSP allocation. I did notice that DSP distribution is accross the 3 boards, but it misses ...

Re: Scope size card

Thanks garyb,

I was looking at xcase.co.uk and could not completly make my mind up which would suit a scope workstation better.

Hi,

What is the minimum pc rack unit size that I could use to fit a scope card, 3U or 2U?

Thanks.

Re: Info about the release of SCOPE XITE-1 and SCOPE 5

What has gone wrong with SonicCore's new product that made them think they had a finished product ready to be released in May yet it is nearing October and still nothing, Is it really a bug related issue or could it be a legal one?

Re: So, end of this month, any news?

LOL, I just knew I was asking for trouble and would come by the name of stardust. Let's hope that the jokes I remember reading from some users back when it was scheduled to be released in May come true, saying it would be released like in October, November and even December.

So, end of this month, any news?

I am not demanding where is SC-V5 software, I was mostly curious if there is any news that I may have missed that may tell us when we could expect a new release time frame? Apart of the obvious 'when it's ready'. What brought me to ask this was the new Cubase 4.5.1 update and decided to see if SC ...

What is new on Scope V5?

I was curious what actually will be different in the new Scope platform?

Apart from the 3 obvious which are colour, compatibility and bug fixes. Can we assume that it will have a similar setup as the Xite-1 plugging and synth’s listed on the site but trimmed down according to the card you own ...

WTB: 6DSP or 14/15DSP card

Hi,

I am after a card that MUST have Scope 4.5 but not too fuzzed if it has 6 or higher DSP configuration, I already own 2 Scope 6 DSP with I/O classic and AES/EBU so I am not bothered either if it's an SRB (as long as it's also entitled the same benefits as a regular card). Prices I am prepared to ...

Wishful thinking

Hi,

I have crazily been after an additional used Scope card to add to my other 2 cards, Pulsar 2's one classic and the other AES/EBU. Tried to get anything on eBay with Scope software 4.5 but always been outbid while I was away from my computer at the critical moment by less than I would like to ...

Thanks

I don't have Cubase 4.1, but weren't there any problems with Scope and Cubase 4.1 at 44.1kHz at all? I thought I remembered some users experiencing some instability problems at 44.1 kHz too, but maybe I'm wrong about that...

Not sure about the 44.1Khz issue your asking, but there was an annoying ...

It's about time they at least updated their website. It still says intended to be released in May 2008. That date has gone, time to place new info.

Too many times they ...
