but the sonic core website has a link to planetz as its forum site. seems reasonable to have a link that leads back again. it's not a big thing, but it would just make things a bit easier

obvious question

Hi

sorry for this really basic question, but i wanted to ask if all you xtc users have additional soundcards that you use when running xtc mode?

my understanding is that the scope software can't run alongside xtc and so if i want the effects/synth to work in nuendo, i'll need another audio ...

how about a link at the top of the page that takes you back to the sonic core website?

seems an obvious request

I'm currently stuck in stdm hell, where i have to wiggle the stdm cables every ten minutes or so to kick start the card. also, as i've upgraded to nuendo4, i have to go through a silly process of switching sample rates every time i boot up or i can't load the asio drivers. the cards are great when ...

um

without wanting to play devil's advocate, steinberg may be completely in the wrong, but your customers probably don't really care too much about the ethics of it. i love creamware/sonic core gear but, at the end of the day, i could still perform my job adequately with a soundblaster card ...

hello. me again. just to let you know, i just had a hunt on the steinberg forum for this problem and this is what the moderators had to say about it:

Changes have been made to the ASIO protocol for 4.1.
Most likely, these changes have revealed a bug/design flaw in the Creamware ASIO driver.
Of ...

That workaround did the trick. Thanks :)

It's a shame i didn't encounter it in time to make request a fix before the recent nuendo update, but i'll add it to my list of bugs that i've found in N4 for next time.

Thanks again.

Problem loading Nuendo4

Hi

I've just started getting this error message when i run nuendo4. it seems to be saying that it can't see the ASIO modules. i definitely have them loaded in the project and the wave source/dest modules are working fine so the cards are basically working. i don't have any other software that uses ...

i've tried making an empty project and loading all modules from scratch. i can send audio through the analogue phono outputs on the pulsar 2 but nothing digital. the power light is still not coming on on the luna box. does this sound like a hardware problem? is there anywhere that i could get the ...

yes, that's an easy thing to overlook, but i think have all the connections right in this case. the project was already set up and working. i just unplugged the cable and used it for something else, then plugged it back in and nothing happened.

does anyone know if it's possible to damage the ...

yes, i tried a new cable but with no results. i'd be worried that i'd blown the output, but as there are outputs on two cards, it's unlikely that they've both gone.

luna 2496 not working

Hi,

I'm running a 3 card setup with luna, powersampler and pulsar2. I have a luna 2496 breakoutbox that i can normally connect to either the luna card or the powersampler.

the breakout box has just stopped working in either port. the power led isn't coming on, although when i plug it into the ...

by timing out, i mean that explorer got to 'this page cannot be displayed' after about 20 seconds. i'm searching for stdm in the problems section and i've selected subject only.

the first link you sent me (http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=16369&forum=1) is talking about the same ...

thanks for the suggestion.

i haven't tried that as i only have one cable at the moment, but i've tried disabling the scope home card so that only the pulsarII and powersampler are running and i get the same error message.

i also tried disabling the pulsarII, but then it goes to a main studio ...

hi

sorry if this a repeat of a previous issue, but i can't seem to get the search engine to run on this site.

i'm running a pulsarII, powersampler and Luna system. i've recently started getting the error message 'Missing STDM Connection: Pulsar2 (ID 2) does not seem to have a STDM connection to ...

hi

any ideas?
