Hey there allmighty pulsarians, just got me a new computer, reinstalled everything, optimized it for audio....... Works like a charm in ableton and cubase but whenever i use a mediaplayer the music stops when i e.g. move a window. Its like my agp card takes occupies my pci bus....
any help ...

hey everybody, i am suddenly having a rather strange problem. Everytime i start up sfp, it loads and then the mousepointer, starts changing between the arrow and the rotating scope sign(indicating it loads) and it just keeps on doing this, slowing down everything else...

I have never really used the xtc part of pulsar, but because i am starting to use a standard setup for most of my music, and dont use the routing options that much i think its time for me to start now.
How mature is the xtc mode? Can i make my own default projects where i use vinco somewhere in the ...

just got a few questions
how does xtc affect outboard equipment?
Is it possible to route my outboard equipment through fx in cubase?
can it automatically set up routings for my inputs or do i have to make changes in the xtc project file?

No i only use cubase v5r3 and some vst instruments, and the problem just popped up all of a sudden, and now its there, even when i load up my backup off the cubase project from yesterday..

When i load up a cubase based project, hit play in cubase everything sounds okay.......
but, when i press the stop button once, i cant play again. When i press start again no sound, no lights in meters, no midi, no nothing.
what the fuck is going on????
I have never had this problem before.....

I think its great news!!!
i wanr more vintage gear, not like the standard pulsar vintage synthesizer, but like minimax and the prophet, maybe they eat a lot dsp, but who cares if the sound is that good. The vinco is so far the best thing that happened to the pulsar..........Lets have more.

The drumsampler in reason is really suberb, mostly due to the massive numbers of different samples you can use. You can convert these samples to wav and use in pulsar. Reason exist happily with pulsar too, just run it through asio.

...also you might check if you get any midi in at all, try using a shareware program that monitors the input midi stream. I've used one when i had similar problems, just cabt remember the name...

its win 98, every other game and app work, just not castle wolfenstein, but the game also states you have to have a 100% direct x compatible soundcard.

anybody had succes to play return to castle wolfenstein on pulsar or luna. directx stutters and if i use the wave drivers i get about 2 seconds delay in sound.

athlon 1.33mhz
geforce 2mx
512 mb ram
