Thank you all for your replies. On my project I have all of those devices connected in exactly that way but it still doesn't work!

I've also connected my JV1010 back onto my old pc with an audigy card and that works fine!

It really is a mystery why this doesn't work!

Hi, an update on where I am witht the whole thing! With some Neil B I'm getting closer to solving the problem. It does seem to be a problem with connecting things in the project file in a similar way to the fact that I can't record audio yet can see the signal on my STM mixer! Will try and keep ...

Not sure if it's a Scope or Cubase problem to be honest!

I have managed to get my set up working nicely and the only thing that doesn't seem to work is my Roland JV1010.

At the moment I'm using Cubase and wanting to use the fantastic sounds on my JV1010 but it doesn't seem to want to work. I've ...

No idea, was first time I switched on pc. I've never really used XP for many of these reasons! I've been hardcore win98 so there's probably a whole load of crap I'm gonna have to get used to!

Will let you know if it works cheers!!!

I have got a new pc with ASUS P5GPL and Pentium 4 3.0.

I have tried to install the software from CD and all appears well until I get to the last bit where you can finish or start scope. When I do either nothing happens and it leaves a plain windows icon on my screen for the scope software but when ...

Here is a system on offer. Will this work well with a scope or has anyone encountered any problems?

Intel Pentium 4 530J 3Ghz
Asus P5S800 Motherboard - Intel LGA 775
Intel 661FX Chipset
etc...

With various useless things I guess they can take off the system!

They also sell these motherboards ...

I've always had the service in the past! My only reservation is that they regard the Audigy 2 as a top end sound card so don't quite understand why you need certain components. If you think that they are going to use decent enough gear then I'll just go and see them!

Can anyone recommend a decent PC dealer in the uk?

I'd prefer it if it was someone who understands the whole DAW system as opposed to home PC but don't want to pay out for the likes of carillion etc...

Preferably someone I can email with a wishlist for motherboard etc... There is a small ...

I don't have £2100. I'm looking to spend £1000 on a scope home, pc and a larger monitor (less important but a 15" screen is a total pain!)

That's great advice. The only thing is I have a budget of around £1000. I doubt that I'll need vast amounts of power as I'll be mainly producing house tracks and recording demos. i.e. acoustic guitars, vocals etc... My old system could hack it most of the time apart from the latency using VST ...

I'm looking to buy Scope home and a new PC. Is there any things I need to look out for when buying a PC to go with it?

i.e. Pentium better? Preferable motherboard?

Appreciate any help here as it's a big investment for me!!!

Also, i'm assuming that I won't have any problems with latency! If I'm ...
