Interesting solution from Piddi,which understood perfectly what I need but too slow and tricky .

I know some of the producers that did this trick lately and they are really too dumb and lazy to get in the detail at sample level manually.

The effect Chris is talking about is definitely a time stretch fx , but is not what I'm looking for (thanks anyway Chris)
the one i say is like a smooth prolonged beginning of the sentence that applies only on the first vowel :

for instance :

CHRIS time strech fx would be like ( HAAAI LOOOVVEEE ...

Does anybody know what they are using to do that prolonged first vowel effect , like a fade in on the vocals

? maybe there is some plug in ? or one preset in them .

does anybody know a way (cheap) to reduce the noise and loudness . ? like panels or sound absorbing materials I can use to put on the walls.. ?

A good cleanining always does the job.

(compressed air,alcohol & no lint surface)

i've cleaned the optical inputs with air and the optical cables with terminals first with alcohol and then dry'em with a no lint surface.

Stable and perfet SYNC !

No garyb !That it is not a dumb question at all.

I've also tried to sync the scope to the a16 and and no luck.

In case the cables are bad , how do i clean the adat ports ? and how do I check if the cables are bad ? I can see the red light but that not implies that it works..... right ?

Everything was fine until today,

I have a SFP professional (with the 2 adat optical i/o and the balanced analog cables
0) plus or something ?

I always synced fine with the adat optical cable. now suddenly the a16 has a red led stuck on the adat sync indicator and there is no led on in the sample ...
