I'm getting closer to getting an xite but I've seen here that there is an issue with wavelab. Why is it not working and what needs to be done to fix it and is it going to happen (I won't ask when, in fear of somebody whipping out the "s" word)? it's good to know that I made a couple useful things with the SDK. I really can't take it to the depths of guys like Sharc, Shroomz, Roy and Martin but it's really handy to have the SDK when you need a little tool or device and if it's something that other people can use then it's even better.

I see, I kind of got the impression that it was available now, I guess we'll have to wait for some feedback then. Please share when you start using it. I don't have my cards anymore so I can't try it but there will be an Xite coming.

Forumer, if you want to test the waters and see what it's like the best thing is to buy a used card. Then you can upgrade to xite later or just sell the card if you don't like it. Even though you are interested mainly in the synths you will find if very useful for other things too as time goes on, I ...

nice workaround with this software, definitely the way to go if you are going usb, you can still go into scope first

I've used m-audio usb mide hubs and they have worked fine for me. It shouldn't affect scope, you just have to route your midi through sonar into scope so there will be some latency.
the nicer thing is to go normal midi connection to scope and then into sonar, you can route your midi to your device ...

24 bit at 44.1 works just fine. Like it was said maybe you need a 14dsp card, I have one for sale if you're interested, just a booster no i/o, but I used it with a 6dsp for years and it works great, adds alot of extra power. If you are interested pm me.

I noticed if you load in an old project where you used the asio 24 bit modules then they will be there however they aren't available in the menu, I couldn't really understand that one. Since I always started with my default project it wasn't a problem, they were always there.

I had this problem when I first went to V5, if you still have 4.5 installed you should change the name of the 4.5 folder, just add "backup" to it or something simple like that.
