I thankfully solved the problem with a little help from my colleagues!

Since I couldn't restore the original BIOS, I thought it would be a good idea to replace it!
So,I downloaded from a site the BIOS file the mobo was shipped with,flashed the Eprom again and -BOOM- the computer worked ...

I own an AMD 3200+ on an ASUS M/B, 5x 512 DDR Ram, 2x 120 GB Seagate SATA HDD's on RAID 0 array,nVidia 5700 256MB graphic card with WinXP Pro English installed. So far so good. :grin:

The BIOS version originally installed was version 1009.I tried to update it to 1011 via the AWDFlash ...
