Ison is REALLY great device. It is not so transparent and precise like Sony OXF EQ. BUT it offers much more features. I like it very much! And one other thing: At last we have hi-end parametric EQ for SCOPE platform !!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is funny, but til now nobody, who is using MAC, or planning to work on Mac will buy CW system. There is no Mac based audio software working on OS9 ...

I did'n know TC powercore is absotute hi-end. I'm shure Sony EQ is. And I know some people buy cables for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and they tell that those cables SOUNDS better. If it helps them to make good music/ mixes and they want to spend their money on it thats OK - I'm happy of their happynees.

To have loud , "fat" masters use good analog compressor (avalon vt 747, summit Audio , Manley) and Waves L2 for maximizing levels. Unfortunetelly This stuff is not cheap.

SFP enviroment is just like working in "real" good studio equpped with lots of outboard racks. Mayby it is not very simply , but it is much easier than make a good mix, write good song or even make a good, fresh sound on synth. In XTC mode you cant use POWERFULL routing window, mixers, STS ...

Sony Oxford EQ is the best I've ever heard. Unfortunetelly is qiute expensive and it works olny under ProTools or TC Powercore. But the sound is amazing! As well as Pultec from UAD1 is very nice, but I don't think it is the best as "main EQ". You know, pulcec -type EQ is vety specific.
