Re: Card has died - what can I do?
You mean send them the card to fix? Is that costly?

Card has died - what can I do?
I have 2 Scope cards - 6 + 3 DSPs. Unfortunately it looks like one of the DSPs on the 6 DSP card has failed - I get an error on startup saying the PC can't communicate with my board and it mentions that 1 DSP can't be engaged. Also unfortunately all my authorisations are linked to the bigger card so ...

Re: Making use of the AES/EBU in
Whoa that's expensive.
I have managed to get the S/PDIF input going to my Luna card at least (coming from my VSynth or Virus Ti). Can't seem to get either of them to be able to process live audio this way though which was my main interest - they play fine though. They do have ins and outs so they ...

Re: Making use of the AES/EBU in
Cool - just tried it with a mini jack to RCA cable and it works (although I have to set the samplerate panel to slave mode otherwise I get clicks)
Is the digital connection better than the analog one?

Re: Making use of the AES/EBU in
My Virus Ti has a SPDIF and I was thinking of connecting that to my Luna's SPDIF anyway so I wouldn't need an XLR converter. I was just wondering how to use the AES/EBU too but it sounds impractical.
What sort of lead to I use to connect the Virus SPDIF (which has 2 ports) to the Luna (which seems ...

Making use of the AES/EBU in
I know this sounds silly considering how long I've had my cards but to expand my number of audio ins I've been using a mixer so I've never really given the other potential ins and outs much attention. However I'm wondering if I could also use my AES/EBU in's too but have no idea how to hook them up ...

VL70m Controller for Celmo Midi remote
I've made a simple midi controller for my VL70m to handle the basic midi cc's - attached. Good for quick edits of stuff like harmonics, brightness and fx sends although can't go into the detail the Visual editor can manage.

Re: Scope midi player
Yes but I really want something simple I can just load inside Scope rather than load an external programme and wire it in - just a player - doesn't need sequencinggaryb wrote:isn't any sequencer a Scope midi player?

Re: Best Scope delay/echo
Can't see where to buy bundles or singles - or even prices
I'm very impressed by Celmo's stuff - it looks a bit basic graphically but shows appearances can be deceptive - his Blue Wave is one of the best Scope synths (very PPG)

I just did a search for that but it looks like the site isn't functioning properly:

SpaceF's stuff has always looked interesting but I could never make sense of his site or how to purchase stuff from it

Re: Warp's effects
I find myself rather overwhelmed by the Chorus/Delay. It's clearly powerful but there are so many options I find it hard to get a good result. I wish there were more than the 8 pre-sets it ships with and that these included more delays s I could use them as a starting point. I'm more a tweaker than ...

Best Scope delay/echo
So far I'm really enjoying a combo of Wolf's amazing Matrix delay (he should really change the name as its not just a delay but a very flexible multi effect and plugin chainer) and Celmo's Tape Echo Simulator (which is by far the best Space Echo type effect I have heard - esp combined with Celmo's ...

High res metering with or without eq
I need something I can use to do some surgical eradication of some clicks but I can't seem to find a decent metering solution native to Scope (plenty as VST but I don't want that). If there's one combined with an eq that would be even better.
