Great and inspiring work. And as for your difficulties, just leave it and return in two months

I am a great fun of Portishead/Lamb myself, the comparison is inevitable, but who *** cares !? this is GOOD music!!!

I liked it a lot!

I am a big fun of combining classic pianos with weired rhythmic pattrens. Why go on the obvious? Jazz and staff...go on Jungle D&B - double time...through some slow filter...it will serve as a gentle energy...but it will have to vary; maybe combine half-time and double-time? just ...

Very creative drums track especially the introduction (wet to dry).

I loved the electronic touch, tablas alike sounds, and the uncontrolled urge to move your head back and forth. OK, left or right for some of you folks

I thought that the e-piano may mute for couple of bars...leaving the ...

Nice work.

it's even more genious if you write it as if you were a child while you are an adult. of whatever age you actually are.
This is not just a thought, this is an ever lasting truth!

There is however a very thin line somewhere, very thin.

ah, now I understand the esthetic behind the tune. I was wondering about the one chord thing.

Well yehh...uknow...music was not meant to be explained through words...and if I ended up describing it...

so don't hold back on me next time! your reply made me think that maybe another pick can be ...

Now that put a smile on my face  I wasn't expeting this to happen, but when I think of it....Just to let u know, I listen to your staff before listening to your addition, to understand your background; great funk staff, and yes you should do live tracks as someone mentioned....

All your ...

Try to shift in time some drums tracks to get that laid back odd feel...say BD -40ms and so on. In cubase sx there is a great feature of which you random change the position of a track, try that too.

Also beside overdrive (and would suggest on Piano too), try muting drums for 4 bars or so here and ...

Dear Wayne

I heard minor frequency collusions between toms, snares, BD, Bass and vocals. I'd say cut lows for toms, snare and vocals (now that's is an artistic choice you might like fat vocals) and BD and Bass: niches, u r right.

All in all, I felt that to make room, you can experiment with low ...

Liked it a lot, and 2nd Borg opinion.

Mix-wise, I would invest some time in adjusting low frequencies between all instruments, this can better serve the vocals.

All the best,

Well, its time to check the TOT again  it is imperssing, the results you got with it, and I own the Vinco so I guess I heard its touch.

I agree about the decay, jently...I trust your ears...

Good work.

B e a u t i f u l piece.
Professional and sensitive approach in vocals recording and sound, guitars part, and the key-sound of this song- the bass with that deep compression. Is this the MiniMax? Sounds great on my HR824.

Heard the D&B version but it does not serves nor the lyrics, the vocals and ...
