Having seen the 'Prodyssey shipping' notice on the Creamware site, I got my local dealer to contact the UK distributer. They stated they had them in stock so I got the dealer to order one there and then. It would take a few days they said.

Now two weeks later theres no sign of it. Today the dealer ...

.. Ah well, re-install made no defference. No matter what combinations of the IOEnabler I use it still wont load XTC mode plugins.

Guies i'll just have to get used to SFP native again.

Cheers for the help folks.

Just about to try a full re-install of SFP 4. If that does not work I'll probably leave it and learn to do without XTC mode. Its just I'm lazy and tend not to run up a full SFP session ,prefering to just grab an XTC mode synth when the fancy takes me.

Thanks for the reply. Theres an app 'IOEnabler' which looks like it does whats needed. However, if I set 'my card has no I/O' (and reboot) Nuendo still cant load XTC plugins. The same 'cannot be used in XTC' dialog

Hi,

I have been using a PulsarII/Powersampler pair for some years as my main I/O and for synths in XTC mode via Nuendo. Having just bought a Firewire I/O device (Edirol FA101) I'd like to run the main Nuendo I/O via the FA101 but still use the PulsarII/PowerSampler for XTC synths.

However, if I ...

I bought a Korg MX when they first came out and was impressed. However I thne got the chance of a cheap Emu XL-7 command station, and they are wonderful! The latest OS is real breeze to program. Tons of good patterns etc available on the user groups. Two MIDI outs make interfacing easy. And to cap ...

Valis,

I use Nuendo 2 which has PDC so in theory if it actually worked there would be no latency,

PDC does not remove latency. It's still there, PDC just makes sure everything has the same latency and keeps in sync.

Thanks to the generous 50% off offer for SFP 4 regstration I was face withe the choice last night of what to buy. Of the plugins I have not yet purchased, I really wanted 6-string but thats not part of the 50% deal.

Feeling slightly deflated I plumped for Optimaster. I had downloaded the demo a ...

I ahev a P4P800-Dlx based system that runs fine. The only problem I have had since building it was when the Pulsar II shared an IRQ with my UAD-1 card. But I dont think that was the mobo's fault. Once I separated them everyting is a solid as a rock, including when HT is enabled.

I did have one time where I got some random hangs when my Pulsar II and UAD-1 were both sharing the same interrupt. So when you build your system I would advise you check the IRQs and keep the two cards separate.

Its a known limitation of XTC mode with cards that have I/O as well. You cannot render quicker than real-time.In Nuendo 2 simply set 'real-time export' in the export dialog. In Nuendo 1, dont render but just bounce down to a new audio track in real-time.

It documented in the SFP manual on page 13 ...

Just noticed the adern site has the flexor downloads available. However, the CW shop does not feature any way to get a licence yet. Still, might even be close

(Edit: Oh at the moment the patch download links appear to just be a copy of the main download links?)

Ok, after a couple of evenings I'll admit it. It does sound bloody wonderful

Yup works great here too. And if you set real-time export then all the VSTi render macros etc work great.
