I think amek is one of the best you can find, but is one of the most expensive to buy. I recorded voice with U87ai and amek directly into pulsar A/Dconverter. sounds marvellous good.

...WHEN I WORK WITH ABOUT 80%DSP LOAD AND MY CPU AT ABOUT 70% I HAVE GRAPHIC TROUBLES ON THE PULSAR SCREEN.(I WORK WITH TWO SCREENS WITH MATROX G450).EVERY TIME I EDIT SOMETHING IN PULSAR AREA AS VOLUME OR EQ OR WHEN I OPEN DEVICE SURFACES, GRAPHIC TAKES ME LOTS SECONDS. COULD IT BE NORMAL?

I have pulsarII with 3.1c version and pro pack software installed.
I use cubase SX 1.03 as sequencing software.
Two monitors with matrox G450.
Pentium III 1Ghz with 512ram.
