I hardly ever pipe in, but this one struck a chord. I use my 45 DSP system as a 72-channel mixing hub (9xADAT) with PC1600x command station. It works quite well. I'm "x-cited" about the new hardware, but really want to see I/O expansion options to support 9xADAT (or MADI).

John, you've done it again! Just received my ver3 update for RD EX and I'm blown away by how good this thing sounds! If there's anyone out there that still hasn't tried one of your semi-modular synths they owe it to themselves to check this out and find out how good SFP can sound!

Anybody hear any more about this? I've got a Mackie Control I use with SX. I'd LOVE to use it for 2448 and 4896 mixers when I'm fiddling with ideas.

Which brings up a good point: Is anyone else really bummed by the fact that the Creamware mixers don't support automation via multiple MIDI channels ...

Analogs I own that I can strongly recommend:

Oberheim Matrix-12 (Expander would be a better/cheaper choice since the M-12 keyboard is crap).

Roland MKS-80 Super Jupiter: But only if you can also get the Hardware Programmer for it (knobs & sliders for every param!).

Personally, I haven't found anything that can touch his Prophet emulations.
