ok!! i uninstalled the hardware again, and re-installed it in a new PCI slot. (i couldn't change the irq in windows for some reason), so now it has irq 5. and i can use 44.1 and 48k now :smile:(when i try 96k it tells my my dsp capacity limit has been reached)

alright, i switched to 'standard pc' mode.. i uninstalled and reinstalled the hardware and software after i made the change from acpi to standard pc. and that seemed to fix most of the noise and distortion :smile:
but i still can't use any samplerate above 44.1 :sad: another oddity is that the left ...

well, i got the card anyway, i figure if i need to update the motherboard i will (even though creamware support said it should work with my amd751 chipset).
i got everything installed properly in winxp, but when i open sfp, all i get is clicks every few seconds when the samplerate is 44.1k or above ...

Hrmm, I guess I should have been more clear.. I meant to say, the reverb/delay stuff is one of the reasons i'd be getting the card, and the synths aren't as important to me right now. So, I'm more concerned about whether or not my mobo is able to handle the reverbs and stuff. Maybe in that context ...

Thanks for the prompt response. Is the issue you're referring to the same as <a href="http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=5913&forum=5">this one</a>? I would be buying the card mainly for routing and to offload some DSP processing from the CPU, and I wouldn't be using the scope synths ...
