Hi !

Finally I got my new DAW (A64 3200+, Asus K8V, Win98SE)...and experienced a strange problem : Note dropouts...no clicks or pops, just missing notes when played via midi...and depending on the dsp-load.

Example : I create a patch in Modular while the sequencer plays midi notes, everything ...

Hi !

I'm using FL Studio 4.1 and SFP 3.1c, and in SFP-Mode there's no problem at all :

Add asio-source to the project, connect with mixer. Start FL, choose the asio input in audio settings. In MIDI-Settings choose Creamware MidiOut, set it to Port 0. Enable Midi-Output in the menu.
Add a MIDI ...

Hi !

Anybody out there who uses Fruity Loops with Pulsar in XTC-Mode ...working ?

When I use XTC-Effects in FL, the track sounds "digitally scrambled", when I use the synths there is no output at all.

I'm using latest SFP and latest FL.

If someone has any hints for me, i would be very grateful ...

Problem : Cubase VST stops MIDI-playback when switching screen to SFP. By switching back it continues playing.

Sorry, I read a similar thread some time ago, but I don't remember it, and can't find it anymore.

My DAW : Win98SE, ASUS TUSL2C, Celeron 1.3GHz, 512MB, Pulsar1+Powerpulsar, SFP.

I'm NOT ...

A Pentium II/400 would be enough ? Hmmm...how can it be possible that a system with by far slower CPU, FSB and RAM has more PCI power ?
Too bad I can't try it out, a few weeks ago I sold an old PII/330 System to a friend of mine...grrrmpf...

"3 dps" ??? Never heard of it, what is that ?

Disappointed Powerpulsar owner with AMD/VIA KT133 Comp looking for a CHEAP new comp to be only used for creating music...maybe you can help me, I can´t afford another mistake.

I don't want to use any Audio functions in Cubase, Logic or any other stuff like DX-Pluginz etc.
Just pure MIDI-Sequencing ...

It helped !!

Grrrrr...I downloaded this patch several days before and DID NOT istall it...my thoughts were "if you add power to RAID, you subtract it from PCI".
Sometimes trying is better then thinking.

Thank you very much !!!

Hello !

I have following problem : Samples played via MIDI with STS2000P, STS3000 or SDS have a very bad timing. If you play the same track e.g. on the eds8i the timing is perfect, so the problem is not the midi-timing, but (I guess) has something to do with the RAM-Access of the samplers.
The ...
