I tried it on some pc and it seems to be good, fastest and stable..
But I haven't tried in my Pulsar/Powercore/Cubase/lot of plugins configuration but I have too much trouble with internet so I would like to...

For sure I don't think my tests is something so precise and I don't have too much known about it which, maybe, Bob Katz has...
To test it I adjusted and listened well every plugin, to try to not distort the sound and to get the best sound from it. In general the threshold was at about -4db in each ...

.. I forgot to tell you that the Timeworks I talk about is for Pulsar.. I tested also the dx version which is incredibly worst than the Pulsar's one...

today I got some free time and I spent some hours to make test using some maximizer plugins with a spectrum analyzer, printing the results and comparing it...
I noticed that all the plugins add dbs in all the frequency range.. It seems that to increase volume the easiest way is to add db on ...

I spent some hours in this weekend to make some test about Limiter and Maximazier plugins.
I have tested the Waves L2, L3, Sony Inflator for PowerCore and Steinberg and Loudness Maximizer.
And, for me, the winner is, without any doubt, the Sony's one.
Waves L2 and L3 add a lot of high enhancement ...

Which is the best limiter to use after my Optimaster? From what I read around the native version of Waves L2 (what about L3?) it's not so good... Sonic TimeWorks Master compressor is really so good? I'm considering it, and it cost only 149$...
I have also a PoCo card.. What about the VERY expensive ...

I know and I have tried all the plugins you told me, but honestly I never find something I like really..
I used to work in a studio with an hardware analyzer, an Audioscope and I fall in love with it.. It's big, so easy to read and so precise..

Is it possible with SFP 4.0 to auto hide SFP when my Windows starts? With SFP 3.1c it does, now when i start windows the bar and the project windows appears on the screen and I must to hide it manually every time...
Am I stupid or something? :grin:

The ISON look really promising... I will download the demo asap.
I sincerely tried about all the DX and VST plugs around and i really haven't find nothing i really like, also Waves' which sounds so "metallic"...
Btw someone has a PowerCore or UAD and maybe can compare EQs from that to Pulsar's ...

I got a PulsarII and other VST plugs using with Cubase, and I used Cubase in native mode ...

Oh... From what i understand now with my Pulsar II I will have mix n'master pack for free.. It's good cause i just bought Optimaster one month ago for 249 Euros.. :|
