Rocktron GAP-1 and Rocktron ProChorus as 1 block can be addressed by the AKAI MB-76 audio matrix switcher in real-time for screaming lead sounds and run/return to separate input channels of the Roland M-160 Line Mixer w/ 4 aux sends which feed the Digitech Studio 400 multi FX unit.

Same way and via the AKAI MB-76 again, the Leslie simulator block is separately addressable too. This block is in this SPECIAL order:

  • Rocktron 300A Compressor unit > Chandler Tube Driver 19" > Rocktron 300A HUSH II unit > Dynacord DLS300 Leslie simulator.

The application for this is that the Rocktron 300A has separate inputs and outputs for the compressor and the single ended noise reduction.  So it's do-able with only 1 HU unit versus two separate pieces of gear.  And that's why I have it.

I access AKAI MB-76 audio Ins (there are 7) by running DX7mkIIFD audio outs directly to the AKAI MB-76, same with single out #4 of KORG M1R ex and the Minimoog D audio out.  So these three instruments are routable to the effects blocks described above or directly to different or dedicated Roland M-160 Line Mixer input channels, because there are 6 outputs on the AKAI MB-76 (2 mono outputs run to the FX blocks with 4 outputs for DX7mkII FD direct to mixer).  The Minimoog D mono and M1R out #4 mono are connected direct to mixer when FX blocks aren't needed.  All this is switchable by MIDI program change commands transmitted from the Miditemp PMM88E.
