That would be amazing! Does it exist? I tried the guitar synth mod patch, but I'd want a device with an audio in and a midi out where you can plug the synth you want...

By your description, don't you mean audio to midi rather than midi to audio? Like the "audio to midi trigger" thread I posted myself? Yes it would be cool.
