MIDI performance assistant

Hi,
I was looking for a simple tool for creating chords. I mean somthing simplier than the on here. I can't find such device for Scope Platform. I belive there are some for PC but we Maccers don't have them. At least for OS9. Just a chord maker. Major 5th, minor 7th and so on.
Is it difficult to create such tool?

i know alphonso has made a patch in modular doing lots of midi stuff...
