as usual 1:1 emulation...

Don't even get me started on this. i love these (a la Gary Numan's Telekon and HH's Chameleon). Great aftertouch thingy. i love my Oddity too but if it was in SFP i'd never use a VSTi again (well apart from the upcoming impOSCar). Please CreamWare strike a deal with GMedia/Ohmforce!

Oh, also the Explorer I had a good bass sound too (listen to early Philip Glass ensemble - thundering bass arpeggios. A sort of ARP with switchable skins/sound would cover all three (Pro-Soloist/Pro-DGX/Explorer I).

bingo !

I like a lot the philip glass essemble too !!

the osc on the pro soloist is very special . I remember it was made with a very high frequency pulse divided into 6 sub harmonics . something like that . maybe someone has more info about that to do somthing with the modular ? by the way I've just flexorize my mod2 ! this thing is great !!!

the last time I used a vsti it was 3 years ago ! it's vintage software now ! 8^))

with the modular and feedback loop you can do some effect ala ohmforce

your are right about covering the 3 models .
a 3:3 emulation !

(this is the arp pro soloist patent with schematics etc ..)

That's really funny Klaus.
Seems most people here don't know who you are, or this post would have had a lot more attention !?
And yes, you have my vote 4 Odyssey as well, keep up the good work

Kim.

Klaus was one of the MiniMax developers i believe  C'mon Klaus you know you want to do it - let's see some ARP's, and how about an Oberheim OB-Xa for some serious heavyweight sounds? And...

have we to understand that an ARP Odyssey is planned to release next for sfp ?
great !!!!

by next to nothing
hm. i'd rather have an ms-20, but thats just me

Oh, and a beat sampler/slicer/destructor, whatever. i know its doable in modIII/Flexor, but having a nice standalone beatbox with nice analougish filters and a neat interface would look swell on my system. Combine that with a standalone SFP pattern sequencer that i also want, and im a happy man

I vote for the odyssey as I've got a real MS20 !

One vote here. Though I really want to see an wurlitzer/fender-stage/farfisa/etc. piano plug first.

Asketh & thou shall receiveth, boys (cough, cough).

Hey, if you CW guys need an OB-Xa to tear apart, call me. It's like that old joke, "take my wife...please", I can't stand that damn thing.

That's really enough for component modelling. They need to have the real physical thing in front of them because components' values change depending on their proximities to one another. Any company that isn't actually measuring a real working model (cough, PHP, cough) isn't doing it right.

I vote a massive NO for duplicates !!!
B2003 was enough, now an odissey ?!
Of course, it will be a tad better than the natives but it's just a waste of coding ressources !!!

So : my vote for a vintage not done YET or something really new for a change but I question CW's desire to do something " inovative ", so prove me badly wrong ...

What jerks, huh? I mean, they come out with Six String, Lightwave, Poison, Vectron, Prism, & STS-500 yet they think that's enough? Solaris & the 70 new Adern modules don't cut it, either, we need more innovation!!!

Ah you agree !
But Solaris and Flexor are not CW's ...
I think they have progressed tremendously since the early days and they have cleverly covered nearly all aspects : synths and FX.
But now they seem ( to me ) stuck in vintagemania forever, I would like some balance in their creations !
They made Vocodizer but not the Vorb ...
They made more modules but not the groundbreaking Flexor ...
They didn't make Python Pro and Uberplastic, Solaris ... etc

I'am waiting eagerly for new third parties smart devices, from my viewpoint they have totally lost the internal competition, that said I'am happy with the recently acquired Mix_Master pack !

Okay I sincerely hoped I have pissed them off enough to make them create some devices that will make my ears bleed !

They need to be tattoed, pierced and hair dyied ! ( sorry, Sundays have adverse effects on me ! )

Well done - i already have Oddity but i'm very, very tempted.
